The adoption of Voice, UC and Contact Center platforms in the cloud is increasing at a rapid pace. However, even though cloud providers offer SLAs and have a critical responsibility to provide a high level of service, there is still a tremendous opportunity for MSPs to help customers ensure a smooth migration from on-prem to the cloud and to offer ongoing operations services for both their on-prem and cloud users. Given that the cloud doesn't eliminate the need for on-prem devices (e.g. SBCs, CCE Servers, network, etc.) and the cloud providers SLAs typically only extend as far as their own data center network, the customer is left with troubleshooting issues when they don't sit in the responsibility of the cloud provider.
